LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is part of the licensing regime for life insurance sales people. Before an advisor in the financial services sector is allowed to begin selling life insurance products, they must complete and pass LLQP, and earn a certificate of completion. Once the certification exam is completed, applicants may apply to their provincial insurance council to write the licensing exam. Once the provincial exam is completed and passed, the applicant may complete the requirements to apply for a license to sell life insurance, accident and sickness products, and life insurance related investment products.
The ILS Life License Qualification Program is recognized and approved across Canada (excluding Quebec). It is valid for 13 hours of Continuing Education credit for Life/A&S in MB and Life in AB. Live immersion classes for ILScorp’s CAIB 3 & CAIB 4 will be held in Vancouver this June.
West Coast Training hosts the ILScorp CAIB level 4 exam prep live immersion course June 16-20 in Vancouver. Level 3 CAIB exam prep runs June 23-27. You must register with the provincial brokers association by June 13, 2014 in order to write your Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker exam following this course, on July 16.
