Regulations to the Insurance (Vehicle) Act for BC – Part 3
Many Autoplan brokers are reported to have told their employers they need additional training in the following areas:
- Selling Skills: how to determine each client’s automobile insurance needs and to explain their solutions in understandable terms.
- The Insurance (Vehicle) Act: to become more knowledgeable about the key provisions of the legislation affecting their clients.
The objective of this course is to provide brokers with that knowledge.
This is PART 3 of 4 and in this third course, we will discuss the following topic areas, specifically:
PART 5 GENERAL. As the name of Part 5 suggests, the topics covered are general in scope and, hence, applicable to the Insurance (Vehicle) Act as a whole. Topics to be discussed include “substitute vehicles, lessees’ coverage, breach of conditions, garage exclusion, ex gratia payments, extra-provincial undertakings, etc.”
This course is broken into two sections:
- PART 5 GENERAL, Section I
- PART 5 GENERAL, Section II
