Mandatory Ethics Training for Saskatchewan. Resident licensees who hold a license prior to January 1, 2013 must complete approved ethics training by their annual reporting date in 2016. Complete your ethics training now. Choose Life/A&S or General Ethics Training. All SK resident licensees must within the cycles set out complete one or more Council approved ethics course totaling at least three hours in duration:
(a) Resident licensees who are licensed on or after January 1, 2013 must complete the ethics training within three years of becoming licensed.
(b) Resident licensees who hold a license prior to January 1, 2013 must complete the ethics training by their annual reporting date in 2016.

March 31 is the deadline to meet your ChAD PDU requirements

If you did not meet your ChAD compliance requirements this December 31, 2015, you have until March 31, 2016 to complete your missing ChAD PDU’s.
ChAD accredited online courses for Quebec licensed insurance agents, brokers and adjusters

As a Quebec licensed damage insurance agent, broker or claims adjuster, you must complete 20 hours (PDUs) of training per two-year compliance period. The compliance period deadline is December 31 of every odd-numbered year, (2015, 2017 etc.) If you did not meet your requirements for the 2015 compliance period, you must complete your missing PDU’s by Thursday March 31, 2016.

How and where to write your CAIB exam in BC.

How often do the paper CAIB exams occur in BC and where are they held? All levels of CAIB exams are held on five dates annually in over 45 locations throughout BC. The exam is comprised of short answer, definitions and multiple choice questions. It is a paper exam and must be completed in pen. The allotted writing time is 3 ½ hours. CAIB 1-4 online exams are now available at the IBABC office in downtown Vancouver. The exam is available in Vancouver on Tuesday and Thursday of each week with one exam sitting a day at 12:45 pm for eight students. Students must register for the exam online first. They are also available in many other locations across the province.

Effective immediately, the AIC’s turn-around time commitment for completed and paid license applications and transfers received online will be a response within 3 business days. Faxed and emailed applications will no longer be accepted. You must submit online or via Canada Post. All paper applications will be processed on a best efforts only within 30 days in the order in which they are received. Effective April 1, paper applications will no longer be accepted or processed and all* license applications must be submitted online. Application status will not be provided over the phone. HOW TO PREVENT DELAYS: A criminal check is required for all new license applications. If Backcheck is used, be sure to share it with AIC. If you are obtaining a criminal record check via other means, please ensure you upload a copy of the document with your application.
