Lesson 1 Title III Functions and Powers of the Authority and Title IV Financial Services Compensation Fund

This section of the Act refers to the Authority’s mission and outlines its principal activities. These include drafting regulations, investigating complaints, and publishing information bulletins. Here you will also find the duties and obligations of the representatives (insurers) to the Authority, as well as a list of areas in which the Authority creates regulation. A description of record-keeping and rules around access to those records can be found here. The Authority is also required to report at specified intervals.
