Investing with ETFs

This course will define what an ETF is (Exchange Traded Fund) and help you understand the difference between a passive and active ETF. At the end of the course you will be able to explain how a client’s money is invested in an ETF, when an ETF is an appropriate investment option, and the risks of investing in ETFs. You will develop an understanding of the main differences (tax implications, guarantees, structure) between an ETF and segregated and mutual funds and become aware of some of the innovations in the ETF space.
